Mercedes-Benz C-Class DR 520 Estate

Formula One World Champion, Jenson Button, has recently purchased and picked up his exclusive Mercedes-Benz C-Class DR 520 Estate car from Mercedes-Benz World.

Button has one of only twenty DR 520s, from the 'Specialist Products Division' at Mercedes-Benz World.

These cars are based on the high-performance C63 AMG, however Button's new vehicle comes with many performance upgrades only avaible from the 'Specialist Products Division.'

A few of the features include an engine output that is increased to a 520 horsepower which is 60 hp more than the standard Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.

iBusiness S-Class by Mercedes-Benz Unveiled

German tuner and car tech firm, Brabus, has released their Apple themed Mercedes-Benz iBusiness S-Class.

This model is designed to be the ultimate executive sedan, with ?aluminum sport fenders,? aggressive side skirts, a modified rear diffuser, Monoblock light-alloy wheels ? with Pirelli or YOKOHAMA tires and a sport exhaust system.

Inside the S-Class iBusiness Edition, the cabin has a lot of new features, including two iPads with Bluetooth keyboards, a Mac Mini, a new 64GB iPod touch, 15.2-inch TFT display, and internet connectivity via UMTS/HSDPA.

S 63 AMG by Mercedes-Benz has Crosswind Stabilization

Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Sport's suspension is based on Active Body Control or ABC. This technology provided as standard equipment supplies crosswind stabilization.

With the help of ABC, the effects of crosswinds are reduced.

The German auto manufacturer said, "ABC compensates against the effect of crosswinds by adjusting the wheel load distribution within milliseconds, using the yaw-rate and lateral acceleration sensors of the ESP."

Also an added feature is the Torque Vectoring Brake, which effects the car's inner rear wheel so the car takes corners precisely and constantly in control.

Mercedes-Benz Sales Improve Yet Again

The Mercedes-Benz sales results keep improving, with a rise of 17 percent in July as reported by the German auto maker. This positive information has marked the ninth month in a row where the sales have increased.

Many markets have improved in sales for Mercedes-Benz, with a large increase in the UK of about ten percent.

"Our sales figures continue to rise - after a successful first half of the year, the second half has now also begun extremely well with a high growth rate," commented Dr Joachim Schmidt, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing at Mercedes-Benz Cars.
