What Does Engine Oil Do?
Oil is responsible for lubricating the moving parts of your vehicle's engine so that the parts can operate without too much friction. Oil also cleans your engine from dirt and other debris. As your engine operates more and more, microscopic wear and debris particles flake off from various internal engine parts and enter the vehicle's oil.
